T Bone collision leaves 6 injured in Durban

Six people have sustained various injuries after a collision at the intersection of the M4 and Himalaya Road in the South of Durban around 12pm today.

Rescue Care paramedics arrived to find that two vehicles had collided in a T Bone manner. A quick assessment revealed that six people had been injured with two sustaining moderate injuries. More resources were called to assist in transporting the injured to hospital. Once all of the injured were stabilized on the scene they were transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.

It is unclear what caused the collision however it is suspected that a errant party disregarded a red traffic light. SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating the collision further.
