Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the R102 near Walter Reid Road in Tongaat this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that two pedestrians were in a serious condition after they were knocked over by a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle overturned and came to a standstill on its side. Three occupants from the motor vehicle sustained minor to moderate injuries and was transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
