Durban intersection collision leaves eight injured

Eight people were injured when three vehicles collided at the intersection of Somtseu and Brickhill Roads in Durban this evening. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police comment.

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the wreckages of the vehicles spread across the roadway. After triaging the injured is was found that five people sustained serious injuries, while three escaped with minor injuries.

After the patients were treated at the scene paramedics transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
