KZN Emergency Medical Services paramedics traveling on the M35 passed the Nsimini SAPS came across an accident, this morning where two pedestrians had been hit by a car.
They immediately stopped to provide assistance. They called for further assistance and assessed the two patients who had been knocked by a car, but tragically they had both passed away from their injuries. The driver of the vehicle had also sustained injuries, they treated the driver on scene after the patient had sustained injuries after losing control of the vehicle after colliding with the pedestrians. This patient was transported to Price Mysheyeni hospital in Umlazi for continued care.
The case of the accident is being investigated by the police.
