This morning emergency services on the KZN South Coast responded to the R61 between Port Edward and a place called Mac Banana, for a report that two vehicles had collided.
The two vehicle collision tragically claimed the life of one person and left another three people injured. One of these patients was critically injured and had to be extricated from the vehicle.
The paramedics from a private ambulance service and KZN EMS , treated the patients on scene, before the patients were transported to hospital by the paramedics from the private ambulance service.
The cause of the collision is being investigated by the Police
