Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the M41 in Mt Edgecombe this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motor vehicle left the roadway, went down an embankment and collided with a tree. Tragically a twenty-year-old man lost his life during the accident. Services had to make use of the Jaws of Life to extricate the man from the vehicle.
Exact details to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
