A seven –year-old – school –boy is in a critical condition after he was hit by a car in the Greenwood Park area on the Natal north coast this morning at around 07h45. Reports from the scene indicate that the child was walking on the pavement when a vehicle collided into him.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the child with multiple system injuries lying on the pavement. After the boy was stabilised at the scene they transported the child under the constant care of an advanced life support paramedic to Addington hospital for the critical intervention that he required.
