Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on Old Farm Road in Faerie Glen, Pretoria this evening.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that one person was injured following a rear-end collision.
The patient was treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
