A woman in her 20s was killed and several others injured in a collision on Durban Road in Bellville, Cape Town this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the multiple casualty scene and attended to approximately 13 patients along with other emergency services.
The deceased was a passenger in the Uno whose driver was entrapped in the vehicle. He sustained critical injuries.
Most of the patients came from the mini bus that was also involved in the collision.
They sustained minor to moderate injuries and were transported to various hospitals in the area including Kasselsvlei Hospital for further observations.
The incident is under investigation by local authorities.
