100 Mandrax tablets wrapped in silver foil confiscated by Reserve Constables

The 100 Mandrax tablets wrapped in silver foil which were confiscated by Reserve Constables Raymond Pieterse and Jerome Huber of Buffalo Flats police station

Even though Reserve Constables Raymond Pieterse and Jerome Huber have been performing policing duties at Buffalo Flats police station without pay for ten and seven-years respectively, they have done so without failure. The two R/Constables recently arrested 37-years-old Mangaliso Dundu and 40-years-old Michael Tshangeveni for possession of 100 Mandrax tablets estimated street value of R5000-00.

Some of the other successes that R/Constables Pieterse and Huber have obtained this year include arresting 39-year-old Mark Smith for theft of motor vehicle, 28-year-old Malvery Canham for possession of stolen property, 46-year-old David Mponda for rape, 25-year-old Thulani Belem for theft of motor vehicle and 26-year-old Bertram Khumalo for Possession of Dagga. These cases are pending at the East London Magistrate Court.

“These reservists are ensuring that Buffalo Flats is a safe environment free of drugs without receiving any compensation for their good work,” said the Buffalo Flats police station commander Lieutenant Colonel Reginah Rampota.
