A seven-year-old girl sustained moderate injuries after she was hit by a car on Fisher Road in Waterfall, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene and found the young girl laying next to her aunt on the side of the road.
Paramedics calmed the aunt and immediately began treating the young patient before transporting her to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the vehicle fortunately did not sustain any injuries.
The cause of the incident is not known but local authorities were on scene to begin their investigations
