A man was killed this morning when his vehicle drove into the back of a large truck at the N12/R24 interchange in Bedfordview.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene where the light motor vehicle was wedged between two large trucks.
Paramedics discovered the deceased had sustained severe injuries when his vehicle crashed into the back of the first truck. shortly afterwards, a second truck drove into the back of the light motor vehicle.
Jaws-of-life equipment was used to free the deceased’s body from the wreckage.
The exact cause of the collision is not yet known and local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
