Rescue Care paramedics were called to a serious collision on comrades morning to the M7 at the Hans Dettman off ramp near Pinetown.
On arrival paramedics found that a single vehicle had lost control before rolling down a small embankment coming to rest on its wheels. Rescue Care paramedics found the injured patient still inside the wreckage. Advanced Life Support intervention was needed to help in stabilizing the injured female. Once she had been stabilized on the scene she was transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that she required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the single vehicle to lose control and roll over however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating the matter further.
