Female dagga dealer arrested after tip-off from public at bus stop in Wentworth

Thanks to community members and the Brighton Beach SAPS, one more drug dealer is off the streets of Wentworth.

Community members notified Brighton Beach SAPS of the drug dealing activities of a 54-year-old woman operating at a bus stop in Wentworth. After monitoring the situation, she was arrested on charges of possession of a banned substance, after they found six parcels of dagga on her.

Brighton Beach SAPS thanks the community members who came forward with information. “By buying banned substances, a market is created within your own community. The fight against drugs can only be won if communities reject the sale of banned substances and report the distributors,” said Captain Louise Le Roux.
