Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the N14/R563 in Oaktree AH in Krugersdorp this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a heavy goods vehicle had collided with a minibus and two motor vehicles. Ten people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
After receiving treatment on scene they were transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
