A man is in a critical condition after he sustained multiple gunshot wounds at a service station in the Mandeni area this afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the shooting and preceding events will remain a subject for police comment.
Netcare 911 and the Provincial paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the ground with life threatening injuries. After medics stabilised the patient at the scene they airlifted him to a Durban hospital for the critical intervention that he required.
