One man tragically died after he was hit by a car on the N2 south near the Ilfracombe off ramp this evening at around 17h28. Reports indicate that the man in his thirties tried to cross the highway an ended up in front of a vehicle.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying in the roadway unresponsive. After medics examined him it was found that he had tragically died before our arrival.
