A man sustained serious injuries after his vehicle overturned on the R61 near the Greenville off ramp in the Eastern Cape this afternoon at around 16h00. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man at the side of the road, the wreckage of the vehicle came to rest on its side next to the roadway. After the patient was stabilised on scene they transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
