A man is fighting for his life after his vehicle overturned on the R102 between the Airport and Mount Morland this evening at around 18h59. Detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man to have sustained life threatening injuries. After he was stabilised at the scene paramedics skilfully immobilised him on a trauma board and after he was placed on a ventilator they transported him to a nearby hospital for the care that he required.
