A biker was seriously injured after he hit a piece of Tyre that was lying on the Roadway on the N3 Durban bound near the Pavilion this afternoon at around 15h07.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the biker lying on the roadway. After they treated the man on scene and immobilised him on a trauma board they transported him to a Durban hospital for the care that he required.
