Driver abandons Crash Scene after crashing into trees on Umhlanga Drive

Crisis Medical Paramedics were called to an Accident scene on 3 July at around 19:40, on Umhlanga Rocks drive between Village Way and Fernlea Road, on arrival paramedics found a vehicle that had been abandoned, according to witnesses a male driver had fled the scene. While Crisis Medical Paramedics assisted with scene safety and traffic control, the driver returned to scene accompanied by two friends who were aggressive, they removed bags and belongings from the vehicle and again fled the scene.

The BMW appeared to have lost control and demolished two big trees, it appears that the BMW was the only vehicle involved in the accident.

SAPS and Security companies arrived on scene to assist paramedics until the arrival of Metro police. All officials were on scene to investigate the exact cause of the accident.
