Eight people were injured this morning when a light motor vehicle and taxi collided on Constantia Boulevard in Constantia, Johannesburg West.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene and found the two vehicles stationed along the busy roadside.
The injured occupants of the taxi sat on the pavement, their injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Paramedics treated and thereafter transported the patients to nearby hospitals for further observations.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
