Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Sechwareng Street in Galeshewe, Kimberley this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that six people, including children, were injured after a light delivery vehicle and minibus were involved in a rear-end collision.
All the injured patients were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
