Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident in Cornwall Hill, Centurion this evening.
Upon their arrival on scene they found a man in a critical condition after a vehicle overturned and he was ejected from the vehicle.
The Netcare1 helicopter was activated to airlift the critically injured patient to hospital for the urgent medical are required.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
