Three people were injured, two seriously so, after a vehicle overturned on the n2 near Hibberdene this afternoon. Reports indicate that the vehicle veered off the road, smashed through the Armco barriers and overturned, the wreckage coming to rest on its roof in the veldt next to the highway.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and after triaging found two people with serious injuries while one commuter miraculously escaped with minor injuries. After the injured were treated at the scene paramedics transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required.
