One man tragically died after he was struck by a vehicle along Edendale road Mbali this evening at around 19h30. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the roadway with life threatening injuries. Paramedics worked for some time to resuscitate the critically wounded patient, tragically despite their efforts he died on scene.
