Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Main Reef Road in Robertville, Roodepoort this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that five people were injured after a minibus and heavy goods vehicle were involved in a collision.
The injured patients were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical are.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
