Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Lynnwood Road in Menlo Park, Pretoria this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motor vehicle and bus were involved in a side-impact accident. Eight people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to critical.
All the injured people were treated on scene before they were transported to various hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
