A 24 year old male has been tragically killed after the vehicle he was in rolled several times on O Flattery Rd in Clare Estate just after 2am on Saturday Morning.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived to find the vehicle still on its roof with the driver severely entrapped in the wreckage. Paramedics clambered into the wreckage to assess the driver and found that unfortunately he had passed away due to the severity of his injuries before their arrival.
The Durban Fire Department had to use the jaws of life to free the driver from the wreckage.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the single vehicle collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
