A man was seriously injured after a beach buggy ran down a drive way and plunged down an embankment, the wreckage coming to rest against the house in Gus brown road Warner Beach. A report from the scene indicates that they were driving up a steep driveway when the vehicle jumped out of gear and started running backwards before plunging over the edge of the concrete driveway.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the elderly man lying behind the vehicle with serious injuries. After he was stabilised at the scene they transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
