Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Gladstone Road in Bayswater, Bloemfontein.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a seventeen-year-old man was seriously injured after a motorcycle and motor vehicle collided.
The seriously injured man was treated on scene before he was transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
