Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the R614 Tongaat Road in Wartburg this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that two vehicles were involved in a rear-end collision resulting in one vehicle overturning.
Four people were injured during the accident and transported to hospital after receiving treatment on scene.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
