Six people were injured three seriously so after a taxi overturned on the N2 between Ballito and Tongaat this morning. A report from the scene indicates that the taxi was traveling south when he veered off the road after a tyre burst and then overturned.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the patients had been ejected from the wreckage as it was tumbling across the centre median. Paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene before transporting them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
