Crisis Medical Paramedics were called to an Accident scene on 8 August at 19h30 on Umhlanga Rocks drive and Ryde place, first to arrive on scene, paramedics found a driver walking on scene, and his vehicle on top of an Audi that was parked in the driveway of a resident in Ryde place. The driver was checked for injuries and later transported to hospital for his complaint of chest pain.
The driver explaned to the paramedics that he served to avoid a car that failed to stop at the intersection and went through the wall and landed on top of the Audi which was parked and unoccupied at the time. SAPS and Durban Collision unit were on scene to conduct the investigation.
