Five people were involved in a collision this morning on the N4 near Rayton when the bakkie they were travelling in overturned approximately one kilometre before the R515 off ramp towards Bronkhorstspruit.
Paramedics from ER24 that arrived on the scene found one person that sustained fatal injuries and two others that sustained minor injuries. Another two were fortunate and escaped with no injuries.
The exact cause of the incident is not yet known. A bystander on the scene explained to paramedics that they noticed the bakkie crash into the side of the road and roll up an embankment ejecting two people that were sitting on the back of the bakkie. Both of them did not sustain any injuries.
The incident was handed over to the local authorities for further investigation.
