Thirty children between the ages of seven and twelve sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor after a school bus overturned on the N2 in Port Shepstone this afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the bus on its side obstructing the highway. After the injured were stabilised at the scene they transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
