Three pedestrians injured at Shakashead on the Natal North coast

Three pedestrians were injured, two seriously so, after a vehicle veered off the roadway and collided into them while they were at the side of the roadway in Shakashead on the natal North coast this afternoon.

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and after triaging found a fifteen –year-old female and a female in her thirties laying on the ground with serious injuries, a three-year-old child was found at the side of the road with minor injuries.

After the injured were treated at the scene paramedics transported them to a nearby hospital for the care that they required. The driving instructor and  learner driver was detained by the police.
