Weekend Warrior 4×4 Day at 3 Provinces

warriorWeekend Warrior, an initiative by Torre Automotive aimed at 4×4 enthusiasts to join a weekend outdoor club, will be running the next 4×4 event at 3 Provinces 4×4 Adventures in Volksrust on Saturday 23 August.

The event follows the success of the Weekend Warrior Night Drive held in June at Hennops and 4×4 event at Berakah Eco Trails in July.

3 Provinces Adventures is situated in Volksrust and borders three provinces: Gauteng, Free-State and Mpumalanga. The venue caters for camping and day visitors and offers outdoor enthusiasts a variety of activities ranging from 4×4 trails, quad biking, bird watching, hiking, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting, fishing and canoeing. Camping facilities are available onsite.

The 34km trail caters for both the beginner and experienced driver and takes between 4-6 hours to complete with stream crossings, rocky terrain, muddy terrain and steep ups, downs and side slopes. Various obstacle grades can be expected from a 2-4 out of 5 requiring low range and recovery gear.

The trails are divided, with each section offering its own unique challenge requiring knowledge, concentration and skill to negotiate to the top.

The normal entrance fee is R180 per vehicle, Weekend Warrior members will receive a discount of R50 per vehicle, payable on the day. The event starts at 9am and runs until about 5pm.

A maximum of 30 vehicles will be allowed on the day. Members can RSVP with Leonard Chester: leonard.chester@torreauto.co.za.

Weekend Warrior includes five key Torre Automotive brands; HDP 4×4 shock absorbers, Vision X LED lights, WARN winches, Airflow 4×4 snorkels and Hi-Lift jacks.
