Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on Modder B Road in Benoni this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found two vehicles had collided head-on resulting in four men sustaining injuries. One man was found to be in a critical condition while the other three sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
The injured patients were treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
