One person was seriously injured after a heavy goods vehicle’s trailer overturned on the N3 approximately ten kilometres from Heidelberg yesterday afternoon.
Upon arrival on scene they found the trailer laying on its side on the roadway.
The injured patient was treated on scene, skilfully placed on a trauma board and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
