Four people were injured following an accident on the M4 between Sibiya and Umhlanga this morning.
Exact detail surrounding the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that two motor vehicles had collided head-on. He roadway was obstructed as a resulted of the accident.
Upon assessment of the all the occupants they found that four people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious. Two occupants from each vehicle were injured during the accident.
All four patients were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care.
