Twelve people were injured after a minibus overturned on the N2 south bound between Ballito and Tongaat in Kwa-Zulu Natal this afternoon.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the minibus had come to a standstill back on its wheels on the side of the road, following the rollover.
Upon assessment of all the occupants of the minibus, it was found that twelve people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
All the injured patients were treated on scene before they were transported to various hospitals for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
