Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the Soutpansberg Road in Prinshof, Pretoria Friday afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a light motor vehicle and light delivery vehicle were involved in a side impact collision.
The light delivery vehicle overturned due to the impact and came to a standstill on its roof.
The driver of the light delivery vehicle was not injured during the accident and the female driver of the motor vehicle sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The injured woman was treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the accident remains under police investigation.
