Weekend Warrior to tackle De Wildt 4×4 obstacles

Weekend Warrior, an initiative by Torre Automotive aimed at 4×4 enthusiasts to join a weekend outdoor club, will be running the next 4×4 event at De Wildt Saturday 25 October. The event is part of a series of 4×4 days lined up for 2014.

De Wildt 4×4 is situated on the northern slopes of the Magaliesberg between Pretoria North, Hartbeespoort and Brits. The Game Park is specifically designed for 4×4 enthusiasts and has abundant wildlife in a rugged mountainous terrain.

Besides the 4×4 trails other activities offered at the facility include: mountain biking, bird watching, braai facilities, picnic areas, swimming pool, log cabins, tent accommodation, and caravan, RV and camping site.

The normal entrance fee is R300 per vehicle, Weekend Warrior members will receive a discount of R50 per vehicle and is payable on the day.

Weekend Warrior includes five key Torre Automotive brands; HDP 4×4 shock absorbers, Vision X LED lights, WARN winches, Airflow 4×4 snorkels and Hi-Lift jacks.

Other main Weekend Warrior events for the remainder of the year will be a ‘Mud Festival’ event on 1st & 2nd November in Naboomspruit, Limpopo, 29-30 November at Rust de Winter and on the 13 December there will be a GPS Challenge.
