She was hauled off a bus at the Tsitsikamma Toll Gate on Thursday morning by members of the Western Cape Rural Flying Squad, who stopped the bus for a routine search. Members found 6.9 kilograms of Mandrax tablets and just more than 458 grams of cocaine in her luggage.

The George Cluster Commander, Major General T Patekile applauded the members for their diligence in bringing this alleged drug peddler to book.

“This shows real commitment and dedication of vigilant members. “We shall continue our efforts to harshly act against those who threaten the safety and health of our communities by peddling and selling illegal drugs on our streets” he said.
