A biker has sustained critical injuries this morning after he collided with a light pole on Manning Road in Glenwood just after 04:30am.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived to find the critically injured man lying on the roadway. They quickly assessed him and found that he had sustained multiple injuries and needed further care. They called for their Advanced Life Support paramedic who arrived and placed the man on a manual ventilator. Once he had been stabilized he was transported by Rescue Care paramedics to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
