A man in his twenties miraculously escaped without serious injury when a truck collided into the back of his Ford earlier this morning on the N1 north before William Nicol, Fourways.
Shortly after 11:00 paramedics found the vehicle facing oncoming traffic with a large truck standing several meters away from the wreckage. Bystanders on the scene explained that the truck crashed into the back of the Ford crumpling the whole back of the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle fortunately sustained only minor injuries and was treated on the scene before transported by another service to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment. The driver of the truck was not injured in the collision.
Paramedics mentioned that should there have been anyone in the back of the Ford they would have been killed during this collision.
