Three vehicles collided on the N2 south near Umdloti this morning leaving the highway closed for several hours. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the crumpled remains of the vehicles spread over a large area . After triaging the injured paramedics established that six people sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor. After medics stabilised them at the scene they transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required.
