A taxi driver has tragically died after he was hit by another taxi along North Umberland drive in Randburg this morning. A report from the scene indicates that the taxi stopped to retrieve a wheel that had come of his vehicle, the man was in the Yellow lane when another taxi collided into him.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying in the yellow lane with life threatening injuries. Paramedics worked fervently to stabilise the injured man and after placing him on a ventilator and doing advanced life support resuscitation for some time he tragically died at the scene due to the extensive injuries that he sustained.
