~ TomTom help navigate cyclists and spectators on race day ~
Johannesburg, 11 November 2014 TomTom South Africa, a leader in mapping data, is proud to announce that they will be supplying the interactive maps, route profiles and topographic maps for the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge taking place this Sunday, 16 November 2014.
The Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge is being hosted at a new venue so entrants and spectators will need to be sure they’re prepared by checking the new event layout and route to the start. If visitors have a TomTom GPS, type in ‘Erling Road’ to find Riversands Commercial Park. “With all the mapping information provided on the day, it will be virtually impossible to get lost” says Etienne Louw, General Manager at TomTom Africa.
The interactive maps will assist people to navigate around road closures, find allocated parking and pinpoint their locations on the day. The 94.7 Cycle Challenge call centre will also be using TomTom’s maps to assist callers with any queries.
